I create custom tiles for installations such as this sink backsplash. Leaves can be collected from the owners' property and can be selected based on favorite trees, species etc. This installation in the Burr Oak area used all oak leaves for example. (I made one from a client's childhood apple tree.)

For the installation below, the client preferred polished rocks to the glass beads. I even embedded his favorite fossil! What would you like to add to personalize yours?
